To assist the Global Medical Directors in the development of a global medical education strategy, and plan/execute adapted medical education activities in the assigned indication within the rare disease therapeutic area.

Assist The Medical Director

  • Identifying gaps in the external stakeholders’ education (thorough surveys, advisory-boards, literature review…)
  • Designing adapted medical education activities to address the identified gaps
  • Optimizing internal processes, when needed

Execute Medical Education Activities

  • Coordinate the assigned medical education projects (initiation, execution and delivery) with internal and external stakeholders, and medical agencies
  • Deliver follow-up reports to measure the education impact and identified gaps to be addressed
  • Support local markets to adapt global initiatives to their needs (when applicable)

Education / Certifications

  • Advanced Science degree (e.g., MD, PhD, PharmD) in the life sciences or other relevant science or clinical discipline
  • Business background
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills; highly effective and quickly establish rapport with all key internal/external partners and stakeholders and influence without authority
  • Functions with excellent judgement, high integrity and in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies

Languages

  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Other EU languages are appreciated

Key Technical Competencies Required

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; enjoys working in a multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of the development program of a drug is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects at the same time;
  • Proactive, independent, team player, pays attention to details;
