Job Responsibilities
- Ensure product access to the market by completing the necessary regulatory procedures: obtaining and maintaining these marketing authorizations.
- Prepare certification files and be in a position to lead calculation notes based on applicable construction codes.
- Application and implementation of Pressure Equipment and Machinery Directives.
- Ensure REACH/ROHS/PFAs product substance compliance and issue relevant documentation
- Provide operational support to the Division's various sites to verify the proper application of European regulations and directives, with a constant focus on compliance with quality and safety requirements for market release.
- Manage and lead regulatory training within operational teams.
- Regularly monitor regulatory compliance and communicate it to teams.
- Communicate with the Marketing and Engineering teams to understand the characteristics of future product developments and define the best strategy to ensure the Division's objectives.
- Member of cross-functional continuous improvement groups (High Performance Teams).
- Mechanical Engineer or master's degree with a minimum of five years of experience
- Previous experience in product certification, including Pressure Equipment Directive (DESP)
- Proficiency in computer calculation and dimensioning tools
- Knowledge of Inventor design tools would be a plus
- Rigorous yet attentive to colleagues and the needs of the Division
- Good interpersonal skills, dynamic, open and loyal, with leadership skills
- Fluent in French and English (written and spoken)
- Teamwork, motivation for multi discipline topics
