Swine Director, EMEA
Direct Line: Animal Nutrition EMEA CD&D Director
Role Objective:
Lead and guide a team of swine specialists across the EMEA region, ensure high technical level of the teams specialists, develop and promote a range of product and service to serve EMEA’s market need in coordination with the marketing and sales team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop Swine Expertise and Act as a Strategic Partner
- Drive the team's expertise in swine species, aligning with sales strategies and market goals.
- Assess market trends and growth potential within the EMEA region.
- Support business development by developing a range of service and products and its promotion to key customers.
- Collaborate with senior management to refine strategic goals and align them with the broader company vision.
- Plan marketing initiatives and prepare budget proposals for effective implementation.
2. Oversee Deployment of Swine Expertise
- Work closely with the sales team to identify customer support needs.
- Coordinate and oversee the delivery of technical support to clients, ensuring resources are effectively utilized to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor performance statistics on products and services, adapting strategies based on outcome analysis.
- Evaluate business metrics to measure success, including action effectiveness, profitability, and client satisfaction.
3. Align Animal Nutrition Operations with Strategic Objectives
- Ensure operational capacities align with business objectives and growth targets.
- Manage projects by allocating resources and optimizing testing processes, balancing internal capabilities with outsourcing as needed.
- Prioritize ongoing safety improvements throughout operations.
4. Foster Cross-Sector Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison between the Animal Nutrition Division and the ADM Group.
- Create synergies with other ADM portfolios to expand applications of existing products and contribute to ADM’s circular economy goals.
- Identify and leverage potential collaborations to maximize the value of ADM’s offerings through expertise development and shared projects.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Agricultural Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in the animal feed or food processing industries, with proven expertise in swine nutrition.

- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Agriculture, with additional Animal Science experience preferred.
- Formulation experience is a plus, alongside a strong understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

- Skilled at influencing cross-functional teams and non-direct reports.
- Proven ability to lead in a matrix organization, with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Management
- Experience leading multi-cultural, species-focused teams.
- Resource management skills, with a focus on transparency and mindful allocation.
- Excellent communication skills within a matrix organization, fostering transparency and cohesion across functional areas.
- Skilled in overseeing trials and research initiatives related to species management.
