Routes To Revenue: Growth at Sage is accountable for leading the definition and execution or our revenue plans (the end-to-end execution plans that deliver our revenue) that achieve our growth targets. We do this through working together with Business Units to translate our global strategies and value propositions into regional revenue strategies, messaging etc. We then work together across GTM functions to design and lead the execution of our strategies, through our revenue plans, to achieve our targets. Through this we create clarity, alignment. We spot and mitigate/take advantage of risks and opportunities. We create positive drive, focus, simplicity, prioritisation and pace.

Are you ready to drive significant revenue growth and make a real impact? We're looking for a dynamic Growth Manager to lead the charge in executing our ambitious revenue plans. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Strategize and Localize: Transform our Business Unit strategies and propositions into effective regional revenue strategies.
  • Align and Clarify: Ensure all functions are on the same page with clear goals and methods.
  • Lead and Execute: Develop and implement comprehensive execution plans that confidently meet our revenue and growth targets while staying within budget.
  • Monitor and Adapt: Track performance, identify risks and opportunities, and adjust plans to stay ahead.
  • Influence and Innovate: Use insights from customers, markets, competitors, and performance to shape and enhance our Business Unit strategies for even greater growth.

As a Growth Manager, you'll leverage your strong background in product marketing, growth strategy, and commercial execution to drive our ambitious growth plans. You'll gain in-depth market and go-to-market (GTM) knowledge, and build strong, collaborative partnerships with key functions like Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Product Marketing. Your role will be crucial in ensuring these functions work seamlessly together to execute our plans.

You'll have the opportunity to work across various functions and execution teams, creating detailed, end-to-end execution plans that are implemented swiftly to achieve our growth targets. Your first-class influence, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for significant parts of our revenue plans and support the translation of Business Unit strategies into actionable regional plans. This includes positioning, messaging, customer journey mapping, creating briefs for marketing, sales, and service teams, and leading launch executions. This role is hybrid with 3 days a week from our offices

Responsabilités principales Market Understanding: Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and business performance. Collaborate with key functions to gather data and insights.

Go To Market & Commercial Management: Translate Business Unit Growth Strategies into actionable plans to achieve growth targets and deliver global strategy.

Revenue Planning: Lead cross-functional teams to create and execute revenue plans, ensuring alignment with cost/margin goals.

Revenue Execution: Oversee the implementation of revenue plans, track performance, and adjust strategies to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.

Product Launches: Manage the end-to-end launch of new products, propositions, and campaigns, ensuring readiness and successful execution.

Influence & Improvement: Act as the voice of the customer/region, influencing and challenging strategies to enhance growth and impact. Build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate growth strategies, revenue plans, and launches to key stakeholders.

Trading Optimization: Optimize in-market propositions through regular trading cycles and collaboration with GTM leaders. Partner with Sales.

Culture & Diversity: Promote a high-performance, supportive, and fun culture within the team. Ensure diversity of background and thinking.

Skills, know-how and experience (in order of importance):

  • Extensive experience in customer-focused Product Marketing with a strong track record in growth strategies.
  • Launched innovative cloud technology products, disrupting markets with strategic planning and market research.
  • Deep market knowledge, understanding customer needs, and competitor landscape.
  • Skilled in product marketing methodologies, marketing/communications, and collaboration with sales/channel teams.
  • Operates effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Proven success in launching products in competitive tech markets.
  • Passionate about Cloud, Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Digital engagement.
  • Exceptional collaborator, adept at working in multicultural and matrix organizations.
  • Creative thinker with a history of innovative marketing ideas and compelling content creation.
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to executive leadership and large audiences.
  • Balances creativity with disciplined execution in a matrix organization.
