ALPHA10X is hiring a VP of Data & AI Engineering to lead the design and delivery of our end-to-end AI and data infrastructure. Reporting to the CTO, you will oversee both the AI engineering and data platform teams, ensuring seamless integration between scalable data pipelines, robust infrastructure, and cutting-edge AI systems.
You will drive excellence across predictive modeling, MLOps, LLM-based agents, and multi-agent orchestration—while building and maintaining a high-performance data platform that powers semantic search, knowledge graph enrichment, and enterprise-grade delivery. This role blends leadership, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the ALPHA10X platform is fast, intelligent, and reliable at scale.

ALPHA10X is hiring a VP of Data & AI Engineering to lead the design and delivery of our end-to-end AI and data infrastructure. Reporting to the CTO, you will oversee both the AI engineering and data platform teams, ensuring seamless integration between scalable data pipelines, robust infrastructure, and cutting-edge AI systems.

This role blends leadership, execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the ALPHA10X platform is fast, intelligent, and reliable at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- AI & Agentic System Leadership: Drive the delivery of production-grade AI systems, including LLM-based agents and predictive models. Guide architectural decisions around multi-agent orchestration, memory, and planning frameworks to power intelligent workflows within the platform
- Data Platform: Own the delivery of the data platform (Azure, Databricks, Spark, Neo4j, Elasticsearch). Ensure robust data pipelines, access layers, and observability to support both AI and product needs
- Quality & Reliability: Promote engineering excellence through strong CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, data validation, and system observability. Ensure platform stability and traceability across all AI and data workflows. Define and enforce MLOps best practices for the full AI lifecycle
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate closely with Product and Software teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Ensure seamless integration of data & AI capabilities into the broader ALPHA10X platform
- Team Growth & Mentorship: Mentor and lead a high-performing AI & Data engineering team of 8 PhDs and engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and fast-paced experimentation

- Hard Skills
- 8+ years in AI and Data engineering, including strong experience delivering and managing production-grade ML systems
- Experience in Python, Spark, LLMs, agentic frameworks and cloud technologies
- Strong grasp of DataOps and MLOps best practices
- Familiarity with Knowledge Graphs & Reasoning for the integration of structured knowledge (e.g., Neo4j, RDF, graph-based reasoning) with LLMs
- Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms

- Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers and scientists
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in startups or fast-paced environments
