Job Description

The team and tech stack

The tech team at Dashdoc is composed of 20+ passionate people across Paris, Nantes, and other remote locations. We’re structured in small, cross-functional squads — and open to full remote work for senior profiles.

The product team is composed of 10 people across Paris and Nantes office: 5 PM, 4 designers and 1 data analyst.

This role is part of the product-facing team, where engineers, designers, and PMs work hand-in-hand to continuously improve the experience of thousands of users across Europe. You’ll be part of the product team while working closely with the tech team.

The Dashdoc Product Is Split Into Three Core Parts

  • The API
  • The Web applications
  • The Mobile app (for truckers)

The tools and technologies we use

  • Frontend: React (with Storybook, design system, TypeScript), Tailwind, React Query
  • Mobile: React Native
  • Design: Figma, Screeb, Notion, Zeroheight, Mixpanel
  • Backend: Python/Django + Django Rest Framework
  • Database & Hosting: PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Platform
  • DevOps: GitHub Actions for CI/CD, Sentry, Datadog
  • AI: ChatGPT, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt… the list keeps growing

How We Work

We use the Shape Up method to structure product development:

  • 6-week cycles: Small teams of developers, designers, and PMs work together on focused, high-impact topics. You’ll be involved early in the process to shape solutions, propose alternatives, and deliver valuable UX improvements through both design and code.
  • 2-week cooldowns: A time to breathe, clean up tech debt, ship smaller UX polish tasks, and propose initiatives that matter to you.

We’re product-driven, so engineers and designers are expected to contribute to shaping features — not just executing specs.

Your mission

As a Frontend Developer with UX and design sensitivity, your role is to bridge the gap between design and delivery:

  • Improve and fix UX behaviors through frontend development

Implement UI/UX improvements directly in the codebase. Act quickly where iteration matters, helping bridge the gap between design intent and real-world usage. Your frontend contributions will play a key role in polishing the product experience.

  • Contribute to product ideation and design

Work with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape user-centric solutions. Take part in the whole process — from early mockups to final implementation — ensuring that we deliver great UX to our users.

Depending on the project, you’ll sometimes design, sometimes code, and often do both in the same week.

Don’t worry, you’ll be part of a team of 3 experienced product designers: we have solid design processes in place — from discovery and ideation to user testing and handoff. You’ll have real support to grow, challenge ideas, and bring great design to life.

Preferred Experience

We’ll enjoy working together if you are…

  • Frontend-savvy: you care about code quality, performance, and UI consistency. You’re confident with React and interested in how things feel, not just how they work.
  • Design-sensitive: you’re not a full-time designer, but you understand layout, hierarchy, spacing, UX patterns — and love bringing those details to life.
  • Product-minded: you’re great at figuring out the right problems to solve before jumping into solutions. You think in terms of flows, not just features.
  • Collaborative and communicative: you enjoy working closely with PMs, designers, and developers, and know how to give and receive feedback. You’re not afraid of connecting with users, spend time in the field, and integrate their feedback into your work.
  • Global mindset: You’ve designed for international products and can adapt to diverse cultures and markets. Plus, you’re fluent in English! (French is a plus but not required).

What We Offer

  • Make an impact: Be part of a fast-growing startup that’s transforming the logistics industry and helping the planet by reducing emissions in freight.
  • Own your work: Work on projects that matter, with the tools and autonomy to bring your ideas to life (we use Figma, Notion, Screeb, Intercom, FullStory, and more).
  • Competitive salary with BSPCE (stock options)
  • Choice of MacBook Pro or Dell XPS
  • 100% health coverage by Dashdoc
  • Monthly meal allowance
  • Offices in Paris, Nantes, Antwerp and Madrid
  • Remote-friendly culture — 3 days/week remote
  • A diverse and international environment (we speak English by default)
  • A stimulating industry (road freight): you’ll work with people who are passionate about their job — and expect the same from you!

And… expect fun moments with the team at any time of the day!
