Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general and basic social compliance assessments based on LRQA social compliance assessment procedures and specific client expectations outlined in Field Instruction (FI).
- Deliver quality report according to LRQA and client protocols and timelines;
- Maintain knowledge of LRQA social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws;
- Interactions primarily with internal team members, such as training, coordinator and administrative. Maintain knowledge of LRQA social compliance assessment procedures and local labor laws.
- Work with team members(co-assessors) to accomplish tasks during on site assessment and reporting process.
- Adhere to all company policies relating to integrity and confidentiality of information.
- Stay high integrity for schedule leakage, unhealthy consultant on site and bribery attempts. Adhere to all company policies relating to integrity and confidentiality of information.
- Other assignments as needed.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Education and Professional Background:
A university degree (graduate level or higher) with a specialization in Labor Law, Human Resources, Social Work, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environmental Studies. The candidate should have sufficient professional experience to meet the expectations for LRQA auditors. - Legal and Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of international, national, and local laws and standards relevant to labor compliance. The candidate should also be aware of region-specific issues that require cultural sensitivity and, where applicable, further investigation.
Auditing Expertise:
Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough supplier compliance assessments, encompassing confidential worker interviews, detailed reviews of employment records, and accurate wage testing with associated calculations. Familiarity with APSCA standards, including CSCA and ASCA certifications.
- Proficiency in French and English:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and English. - Travel Flexibility and Time Management:
Willingness and ability to travel extensively and frequently. The candidate must demonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently under varying conditions.
