Business Development Manager: New Markets - 12 months Fixed Contract

Our great European Growth Market team is looking for a Business Development Manager - (New Markets) based in France for a 12 months Fixed term contract!
You will have the possibility to develop and execute growth strategies across key strategic regions: Germany, Switzerland, Turkey. This role ensures business continuity, identifies and activates white space opportunities, manages distributor relationships, and leads the commercial execution of Tropicana Brands Group in underdeveloped yet high-potential markets.
In this role, you will focus on:
- Distributor & Market Management
- Manage and grow current distributor partnerships in Germany and Turkey
- Scout and onboard new partners
- Develop annual commercial plans aligned with AOP and deliver against agreed KPIs
- Business Development & White Space Activation
- Identify white gaps and execute plans to activate them
- Launch new markets and scale existing ones with the right partners
- Work cross-functionally to coordinate trade terms, regulatory requirements, forecasting, and P&L alignment
- Executional Excellence
- Ensure in-market excellence through direct presence, field visits, audits, and training
- Support localization of the brand and build brand equity with high execution standards
- Licensing/Franchise Support
- Operationalize the franchise/licensing hybrid model in Turkey
- Ensure quality, compliance, reporting, and collaboration models are respected
The successful candidate will :
- Have 7–10 years of relevant experience launching and scaling brands in new markets with direct P&L exposure is strongly preferred
- Have Proven track record in managing distributors and driving market growth
- Have Strong commercial mindset with understanding of financial implications when setting up business models that ensure win-win partnerships and healthy, sustainable growth
- Germany / DACH experience and network
- Distributor-led market development
- German language, with Polish, Dutch or Turkish as a plus
- Great knowledge of the Franchise Business ways of working
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally in a lean team setup
- Willingness to travel frequently
