Growth Manager Inbound
Riot Security
We're a product-first team on a mission to help grow the cybersecurity culture
We want to instill cybersecurity good practices to employees in a way that's actually effective, and entertaining enough so that employees don't feel like they're working. Think Duolingo but for cybersecurity.
We created a platform to easily rollout a cybersecurity awareness program: the platform sends chat-based 4-minutes long courses to teams. Following the courses, the other side of the platform simulates phishing attacks, to prepare employees to face hackers, but in a safe environment.
Created in 2020, Riot has raised $45m with leading investors (Y Combinator, Left Lane, Base10, Funders Club and First Capital) and is now protecting more than 2,000,000 employees in over 2,000 companies (including Intercom, Deel, and Deezer) all over the world.
Cybersecurity is everywhere. It's impacting everyone, everyday, and it's becoming the number one risk to any organization, whether it's a small business or a big firm. Yet, the cybersecurity culture in most companies is a disaster. Hackers are leveraging this by targeting the weakest link: the employees. We're on a mission to fix that.
Paid acquisition teams used to be built in layers: channel specialists in the platforms, an agency for the overflow, a design queue for the creative, an analyst for the reporting. We think AI has collapsed those layers, and that one senior marketer with the right system now outperforms the whole stack.
That is what we are actually building at Riot, and this role sits at the centre of it. Inbound is the growth engine taking shape now, backed by a significant paid investment across Europe and the US. We want one person to accelerate it and own it end to end: decide where the money goes, build the AI system that optimises the spend, make the ads that run, and stay close enough to the sales floor to know which investments turn into invoiced revenue.
You will report directly to Grégoire (Head of Growth) and work as a senior individual contributor, with the autonomy and the tools to run the whole chain yourself, from strategy to creative. Your focus goes all the way to invoiced ARR and CAC: leads and pipeline are the leading indicators along the way, not the finish line. If you have been rebuilding your own job around AI and want the scope and the budget to do it properly, this is the role.
What you will do
The investment: where the budget goes
- Allocate spend by market and by platform across Europe and the US, with CAC and CPL targets per market
- Run the full mix: Google (Search, PMax, YouTube), LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, Microsoft, plus test channels per market
- Build ABM campaigns for enterprise accounts, on target lists defined with sales
- Run incrementality and holdout tests, and move budget on what they show
- Reallocate within the month, with quick iterative loops on short-term impact
The machine: an AI system that runs the accounts
- Automate campaign optimisation with AI instead of running it by hand in the tools
- Build the reporting once and let it run
- Script what repeats, and document it so the system outlives any single campaign
- Open the platforms to check and steer, not to tweak
The creative: quick, iterative asset building
- Take ownership of the assets we run and iterate on them fast: creative, copy, landing pages, localisation for each market
- Bring a taste for what good looks like and a sense of what converts: you know a good hook from a pretty one
- Build most of them yourself with AI, lead magnets and other conversion assets included, with the content and brand teams in support when you need them
- Contribute to SEO and GEO (visibility in AI answer engines), on strategy and asset creation, alongside content
The strategy: built with the sales floor, owned with leadership and the C-level
- Own the acquisition strategy, and ground it in the funnel from click to invoiced ARR, by source and by market
- Agree speed-to-lead, routing and qualification criteria with sales
- Be on the sales floor every week: listen to calls, change targeting from what you hear, own the lead-quality conversation
- Turn the strategy into a story sales can be onboarded on and other teams can align to
- Give a weekly readout to the org
- Bring leadership presence to trade-off discussions with the leadership team: you build your own reporting, present it clearly and defend your choices when challenged
Requirements
Who you are
- An owner: you have at least 5 years in growth or performance marketing, with experience owning strategy and a significant paid budget on your own
- Multi-channel, multi-country: you have run Google, LinkedIn and Meta across at least 3 countries, ideally including ABM campaigns for enterprise accounts
- Revenue-literate: you read the funnel from click to invoiced ARR, and you have moved budget after an incrementality test
- AI-native in practice: optimisation, reporting and localisation run through workflows you built and can show live
- A maker: you build assets that convert with AI, and you can say why they worked
- At ease with sales and with leadership: you have worked with SDRs on lead quality, and defended a budget in front of a leadership team
- You don't need to be an expert on cybersecurity, but you need to be motivated by the mission
- You have a full professional proficiency in English and native in French
- You're based in Paris or you're willing to relocate
