Mechanical & Thermal Engineer
SpaceLocker
Your missions
Your missions
You will work closely with SpaceLocker’s engineering and AIT teams to:
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies for payload hosting hardware, from initial concepts to manufacturing-ready definition
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, bills of materials and related design documentation
- Make design choices that balance function, mass, manufacturability, assembly and cost
- Consider mechanical and thermal constraints, including launch loads, operating temperatures, heat transfer and interfaces with other subsystems
- Support mechanical and thermal analyses to assess design choices and identify areas that need iteration
- Contribute to prototype assembly, hardware integration and the investigation of mechanical or thermal issues
- Help prepare and participate in relevant test campaigns, such as thermal-vacuum or vibration testing, and analyze the results
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners to resolve design and production questions
- Contribute to design reviews and the continuous improvement of SpaceLocker’s products and engineering practices
This list is neither exhaustive nor exclusive. If you think you’re a good fit, even without matching every requirement, we’d love to hear from you.
